This piece is part of my woodland collection. It was inspired by the beautiful wild moors where I was brought up in North Yorkshire. Layers of acrylic paint,  metal leaf and hand painted collage. The surface is sanded back to reveal a distressed quality, referencing the geological nature of the land.
